Our Tip of the Week: When dealing with the death of someone beloved to you, grief can be a scary, isolating and complicated process. Being able to talk to someone who has experienced grief, yet is not personally involved with the loss you have experienced, can greatly help you with gaining guidance and insight. That special and helpful someone is a grief coach — ready to talk to you and allow you to vent all of your feelings over the telephone in the comfort of your home and offer advice and help with navigating through your grief.
How-to Suggestion: We spoke with certified grief coach Dhyanis Carniglia in 2014, who told us, “It may seem unusual to look for the gifts of grief. One of the great advantages of having a coach is to help you live not by default but by design.” Grief can be a positive learning experience where you can learn to make future decisions on how to live life to the fullest with the helpful insight from trained professionals ready to support you during the difficult grieving process and allow you to feel like you are talking to someone friendly whom you can trust to not judge you.
